I've pretty-much decided on a 3430 HSTC tractor, but due to the cab and hydraulic controls I'm having to go with a Kubota loader as opposed to a woods loader. The dealer first told me the difference in price is $250 or so between the two, but now I'm told the price is actually around $1000. Could anyone give me an idea whether this is correct? Both have the quick attach feature, etc., and the Woods loader is a model 1012 vs the Kubota LA723. Thanks!

Do yourself a favor and look at the bucket cylinder pins. See where the grease fittings are? Who's will break off the easiest when stones come over the back? If you need more let me know. ....

Well, since it looks like I'm required to get the Kubota loader, I"m hoping its the Kubota!!!!! Either way, does a price difference of $1000 seem correct? ....

If he told you the difference in price is $250, then make him stick to his word. ....

Well, he told me the Kubota was more expensive, but wasn't sure howq much more. I asked for a ballpark figure and he told me around $250, but that he'd have to check. When he checked his books, the difference came out to be $1000. If he had told me a firm $250, I definitely would make an issue of it.

I'm simply trying to find out if the $250 was a genuine mistake, or if he just inflated the price of the Kubota loader now that he knows I have to purchase this loader with the cab tractor. ....
